Burnout and mental health concerns are on the rise across every profession, including coaching. In this interactive, research-based, and science-backed session, coaches will explore how to recognize burnout in themselves and their clients, how to stay within the scope of coaching, and how to use ICF-aligned approaches to promote sustainable well-being and performance.

Drawing from evidence, lived experience, and practical tools, Ellen Kocher, MA, ICF MCC, NBHWC, will guide participants to reflect, self-assess, and leave with actionable strategies to coach confidently and ethically in a world where burnout has become the norm.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this 90-minute session, participants will be able to:

  • Articulate the business case for burnout & mental well-being coaching
  • Distinguish between burnout, chronic stress, & clinical mental well-being concerns
  • Self-Assess readiness to coach mental well-being & burnout
  • Recognize evidence-informed coaching strategies to help clients (and self!) recognize, prevent, & manage burnout
  • Provide you with this fully sourced presentation to create the ripple effect

    Ellen Kocher
    MA, ICF MCC, NBHWC

    ​Ellen Kocher is a Swiss-American economist, workplace well-being expert, and global coach mentor based in Geneva. With over 25 years of experience as a corporate health expert, burnout prevention, and resilience, she equips coaches and organizations to sustain performance in high-stress environments. A Master Certified Coach and NBHWC-certified Health & Wellness Coach, Ellen mentors coaches worldwide and delivers turnkey training programs globally. She co-founded Wake-Up, Shake-Up, Thrive!, leads Whealthness, and serves in leadership roles across the ICF and NBHWC.

    Caroline is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and is a member of the ICF Sweden board, with special responsibility for volunteers and DEIB issues. Caroline works as an Executive and leadership coach, and has a solid background as a supply chain leader in international multicultural companies.

    CCE points are for those of you who are ICF certified coaches and are used in connection with the renewal of your certification, every 3 years.
    The CCE points are sent to the email address you provide when you register and note that you need to participate throughout the training to receive the CCE points.
